Powell Peralta Mike Vallely

To put it bluntly, Vallely was epic when Public Domain and this board (his first and only Powell Peralta pro model) were released. He must have made a pile of cash from this one. So many kids in my area were riding it. When he jumped ship to World, PP must have been sitting on a lot of them cuz the shops in town had Vallely pro models from both companies for a good 6 months. I wanted one and used to call all the shops to see if they had any and the answer was always no but weeks later they were always popping up on the shelves here and there. VCJ was the artist and the pic of the graphic is from Disposable.

I had a yellow one. For a board that looked so cool, I did not care for the shape at all. The tail was kind of short and funky.

This is one of the coolest skateboard graphics.

They reissued this model. I was thinking of picking on up to cruise around with.

Modern day weird-o Vallely will keep me from being psyched on any epic Powell/World era Vallely stuff.

I'm not positive, but I think he has another pro model on powell. Years after he left powell he went back and rode for them again. I pretty sure they made him a new board with a lightnig bolt on it. I could be wrong though. Nice find on those old real graphics.

evokerone... nice call! I forgot he rode for George Powell again in the late 90's. Actually, I forgot he existed in the late 90's!

Went to check out your evokerone blog... stoked!
